Course Description
HTML stands for Hypertext Markup Language, a way to identify files so that browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.) know how to display content as a web page. HTML uses tags to differentiate between content (what the user needs to see) and instructions for displaying them (create this list, convert this link to another page, show this image, etc.) There is a lot you can do with HTML, so we focus on the following:
What is HTML and how did we get from the original version to HTML5?
The syntax behind tags- How to write good HTML syntax.
The semantic behind the tags – some tags have a special meaning and are extremely useful to make your pages available.
New features of HTML5 including semantic, connectivity, offline and storage, multimedia, graphics and effects, performance and integration, device access and styling
Accessible pages are pages that are accessible to the widest number of people and include those with physical or cognitive disabilities.
Get your web page – you will learn how to publish your site if you choose.
